Wedding Song

Filed under: All Blogged — GG @ 09:05

For my Geek, he knows why…

Come my love I’ll tell you a tale
Of a boy and girl
And their love story
And how he loved her oh so much
And all the charms she did posess

Now this did happen once upon a time
When things were not so complex
And how he worshiped the ground she walked
And when he looked in her eyes he became obsessed

My love is like a storybook story
But its as real as the feelings I feel
My love is like a storybook story
But its as real as the feelings I feel
It’s as real as the feelings I feel

His love was stronger than the power so dark
A prince could have within his keeping
His spells to weave and steal her heart
Within her breast but but only sleeping

My love is like a storybook story
But its as real as the feelings I feel
My love is like a storybook story
But it’s as real as the feelings I feel
It’s as real as the feelings I feel

He said
Don’t you know I love you oh so much
And lay my heart at the foot of your dress
She said
Don’t you know that storybook loves
Always have a happy ending

Then he swooped her up just like in the books
And on his stalion they rode away

My love is like a storybook story
But its as real as the feelings I feel
My love is like a storybook story
But it’s as real as the feelings I feel
It’s as real as the feelings I feel

Quiz Me

Filed under: All Blogged, Fodder — GG @ 19:08

Yip, it’s that time again when I post the results of a quiz because I’ve got nothing else to write about. Actually not true, I have plenty to write about. It’s the putting words together with punctuation to form sentences and paragraphs that’s getting me down.

The results are kind of interesting in an I’m-thinking-of-resuming-my-tertiary-education kind of way.

I also find it hilarious that I scored 33% for Engineering. Guess what I studied at technical college. I’ve spent nearly 12 years in an industry that I’m only 33% suited to apparently, yet I’m pretty good at it. Just imagine what I’m going to do in English. If I can ever figure it out of course.

You scored as English. You should be an English major! Your passion lies in writing and expressing yourself creatively, and you hate it when you are inhibited from doing so. Pursue that interest of yours!

Thanks be to the lovely Frankie, though I am jealous of her results. And her pink lipstick.

To the Telkom sales representative who called my house this week, trying to convince me to sign up for services I really don’t want: Do not thank me for doing business with Telkom. As I told you, it’s not like I have any choice in the matter. ( 2 )
